The RN Navigator provides care within the ambulatory setting, utilizing assessment and teaching skills to assure the provisions of accessible, safe and confidential reproductive healthcare for Reid Health patients. The RN tracks patients at risk, collaborates with providers, responds to health education needs of patients, facilitates support groups, and performs home visits. The RN provides information and direction to support the team and staff to assure clinic floor and that patient needs are met.

This position will work directly with all nursing staff on the behavioral units of Reid Health as assigned. This position is designed to assist with control and movement of behavioral patients to prevent staff and patient injuries.

The primary focus of this position is providing assistance to the RN circulator and physicians in the Family Birthing Center Operating Room. Responsibilities include, preparing and organizing sterile supplies and instruments for the surgical procedures, developing and maintaining a sterile surgical field as a member of the surgical team.
