The MarCom department manages all marketing, communication and branding efforts for Reid Health and Reid Health Physician Associates. The Marketing Specialist plays a crucial role in support Reid Health’s service lines and departments by developing and executing marketing campaigns that align with the organization’s objectives. Overview of Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning: Uncover marketing needs to support Reid Health service lines or departments. Marketing needs should uncover new objectives and measurable goals to aid in campaign development and strategic planning. Marketing Specialist should partner with Digital Marketing Analyst if additional research or data is needed to support strategic efforts.

 

  • Communication: Marketing Specialist is required to maintain timely communication with the departments they support in addition to thorough communication with other work teams within Marketing. Project initiation will begin with Marketing Specialists.
    It is imperative that Marketing Specialist communicates campaign needs effectively to successfully relay project requirements to other Marketing team members.

 

  • Reporting: After a campaign has concluded, the Marketing Specialist should work in partnership Digital Marketing Analyst or vendor partner to review campaign data and measure success. Reporting should include areas of opportunity for optimization.

 

  • Brand Adherence: During regularly scheduled meetings with Reid Health departments, Marketing Specialist should observe and enforce Reid Health brand standards. Recommendations should be made my Marketing Specialists if changes are needed.

 

  • Vendor Collaboration: Marketing Specialist will serve as liaison between Reid Health departments and vendor partners. Marketing Specialist will convey campaign needs to vendor partner, secure quotes, and budget estimates, receive approval from MarCom department leadership, and partner with vendor to execute projects or campaigns.

 

  • Website: MarCom maintains the public-facing website, ReidHealth.org. With guidance from the marketing manager, the Marketing Specialist provides website
    content updates, visual appearance enhancements, framework structure, new blog topics, and other relevant web-based initiatives considered in strategic planning. 

 

  • Event Planning: Marketing Specialist is responsible for the planning, coordination and logistics or key Reid Health events. Marketing Specialist will serve as the liaison between event vendors and departmental leadership. Marketing Specialist will serve as point of contact on day of event. Marketing Specialist leads post event SWOT meetings to identify future areas of opportunity for growth.

 

  • Community Events: Marketing Specialist may represent Reid Health at community- led events, not hosted by Reid. They will attend events that are strategic in connecting community members and patients to key Reid Health service lines.

 

  • Internal Relations: Provides support and excellent customer service for internal clients and department colleagues.

 

  • Professional Growth: Remains current on industry best practices by fulfilling annual goals for professional growth completion hours. Focuses on industry trends and best practices to improve individual skillset.

Education/Experience

  • Four-year degree in business, marketing, communications or related field required.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum three years professional experience in digital marketing, strategic planning, marketing, communications, or public relations.
