Under the general supervision of the manager of Occupational Medicine, a phlebotomy technician assumes the responsibility for performing venipunctures, urine drug screen collection, and breath alcohol testing. Phlebotomy technicians are responsible for ordering tests in the laboratory computer system as needed, as well as entering charges as applicable.

Collection of urine drug screen specimens, performing breath alcohol testing, and venipunture. Will work in collaboration with Occupational Medicine to serve the corporate health needs of Reid Health employees, as well as outside corporate clients. Will maintain the organization of the drug screen lab, including stocking of supplies. Speaking on the phone with company representatives regarding processes and and paperwork.

HS Diploma with Phelbotomy cerificate preferred but not required. Past experience as a Phlebotomy Tech preferred.
