About the Position
Responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of programs that focus on nursing education, resilience, and development. This position cultivates an environment conducive to optimizing competent, compassionate nursing care. This position will serve in the Nurse Education, Resilience, and Development Department to promote nursing education, competency, excellence, resilience, improve retention and develop our nursing teams. This department serves to promote engagement, retention, and morale through providing educational opportunities and trainings.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. To work cohesively with the Nurse Education, Resilience, and Development
Department to meet established goals.
2. Collaborate with Clinical Practice Leaders and Unit Leadership to develop and
implement educational programs based on current evidence-based practice,
trends, and identified learning needs.
3. Organize training programs to enhance nursing education, resilience, and
development.
4. Must strive for innovation and adhere to the most up to date technology.
5. Use data to determine quality initiatives.
6. Works to create curriculum and identify deficits in skills that need improvement.
7. Develops education in accordance with DNV guidelines.
8. Act as a liaison and mentor by partnering with nursing leadership to meet the
organization’s vision and goals.
9. Must demonstrate leadership, professionalism, creativity, and initiative.
10.Maintains clinical competence.
11.Participates in professional educational programs as appropriate for professional
and personal development.
12.Will use and become competent to independently utilize a variety of electronic
systems including but not limited to Microsoft Suite, Simulation Manikin systems,
Teams Meeting, and Smartsheet.

Education and Experience
- Minimum of bachelor’s degree in nursing, Master’s preferred
- Must be willing to complete master’s degree within 5 years and earn additional
certifications as required
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a registered nurse, acute care preferred
Licensure and Certification
- BLS
- ACLS
- Active Indiana Registered Nurse License
