Overview of Responsibilities

  • Patient care and administrative responsibilities are assigned to the PT Manager based on the degree of experience, expertise, education, and other appropriate factors. The PT may rotate through clinical assignments, including inpatients, outpatients, home health, contracted services, and work conditioning patients. Additionally, the specialty population of outpatient pediatrics will be assigned only as appropriate to clinically qualified individuals.
  • The PT is responsible to the Physical Therapy Manager.
  • The PT is clinically responsible for PT Assistants, students, Aides, and volunteers working under their direction.
  • The PT will be assigned to work certain weekends and holidays in accordance with department policy.

Education/Experience

Education Required:  BS, MS, or DPT Degree or Certification in Physical Therapy from an ACTA (accredited educational program).

Experience Preferred:  Preference may be given to individuals with advanced clinical skill experience or expertise.

Licensure: Must be fully licensed in Indiana to practice as a Physical Therapist. May work with a Temporary Permit under the stipulated supervision of a PT in accordance with Indiana regulations. Additionally, if assigned to provide services in Ohio, the PT is required to hold a current license in that state.

Certifications:  Basic Life Support certification required.

Schedule Details

Day shift. 40 hours weekly. Monday 7:30 am – 6 pm, Wednesday/Thursday 7:30 am – 6 pm and Fridays 6:30 am – 5 pm.
