Pediatric SLP for our Connersville Location. The Speech-Language Pathologist evaluates patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders to restore, improve, or maintain the patient’s optimal level of functioning, independence, and quality of life. Education, counseling, and instructing in use of devices and techniques are modalities used to improve functional communication.

Overview of Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Education, counseling, and instructing in use of devices and techniques are modalities used to improve functional communication.
• Interprets evaluation data, history and applicable medical documentation to determine rehabilitation potential and potential benefit from intervention

Education/Experience

Education Required:Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program.
Experience Preferred:  Preference may be given to individuals with advanced clinical experience or skills.
License required: Certified in Indiana to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist, May work with a Temporary Permit without license in accordance with Indiana regulations. 
Certifications Required: Must maintain active CPR certification, Must hold Certificate of Clinical Competence (C.C.C.) Awarded by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association or in the process of completing the Clinical Fellowship Year (C.F.Y.).

Schedule Details

Day Shift. 40 hours weekly. Monday - Thursday. 7:30am - 6:00pm. 10 hour shifts. Rotating weekend coverage.
